The gay world is small and certainly FACEBOOK has made it even smaller. So here is a funny FACEBOOK story. Both Rubin and I were hanging at our villa at the W Retreat Koh Samui, when I get a message from friends in LAX saying …” We are having Pad Thai at the restaurant..”. My first instinct was, guys we are at the W Koh Samui in Thailand, not in West Hollywood. They replied WE TOO.!!! We saw your photos from Rubin’s Fashion Show and realized we were all at the same resort.!!! What are the odds right. In the end we spent a lovely afternoon at the beach and at our pool drinking sake with Auris, Robbie, Tony and Thomas. Thank you Facebook.!!
Rubin Singer Glamming up W Retreat Koh Samui
So we finished with the production of Rubin Singer’s VIP Fashion Show Koh Samui for L’Officiel Magazine Thailand, hosted by the sexy and chic W Retreat Koh Samui with stunning views over the Gulf of Thailand. A beautiful evening which began with 18 top looks over a floating runway, and finish with incredible fireworks.
Hotel Check IN at W Retreat Koh Samui
After a busy but amazing and successful stay in Bangkok, we flew this morning into Koh Samui, where we will stay for the next five days. Our first hotel stop is the sexy and hip W Retreat Koh Samui, located on a northern peninsula where Bo Phut and Mae Nam bays come together. After a brief intro to the property, we were Checked IN at our Beach front Villa.
Heading back to Thailand in seven days
So the BIRTHDAY countdown is OVER and 39th is my new mood. NOW the countdown to our THAILAND experience is on… ( this will be my 5th time in Thailand, land that I LOVE and ENJOY beyond expectations ) only 7 days away from departure. Purpose of the trip: Rubin Singer’s Fashion Show in Bangkok and VIP Fashion Weekend and Photo-Shoot in Koh Samui for L’Officiel Thailand. Of course I will be staying, experiencing and reviewing fabulous hotels, as ALWAYS: Hansar Bangkok, W Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Six Senses Samui -A SALA Property, W RETREAT KOH SAMUI, The Siam and my own personal treat and favorite TOP 05 hotel experience in the entire world, Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. Heading back after and amazing weekend in Vieques | Vieques, Puerto Rico | After a lovely weekend in Vieques at the W Retreat and Spa, we are heading back to New York city. GPS Carlos Melia transitioning from Puerto Rico to Vieques | Vieques | Hi there everyone, reporting from Vieques, were we are spending a fabulous weekend celebrating Rubin’s BDAY. More photos on Facebook. We spent last night at the fabulous and exclusive St Regis Bahia Resort in Puerto Rico, with a romantic dinner at Ferns by Jean George. Today we flew on Vieques Air Link to Vieques (only 30 minutes from Isla Grande en Puerto Rico) and now we are spending our weekend at the W Retreat Vieques.
