ZEN Restaurant at Pan Dei Palace | St Tropez, France | Located at the ground level of the Pan Dei Palais by Relais & Chateaux, is this lovely Restaurant, fusion of Thai / Indian with reminiscences of French Cuisine. ZEN is their concept, and you can see in the photo above, very very simple but classy and very tasteful. And come on… once you use French Graine Moutarde, what can go wrong right. !!!! It brings up all the right flavors. Precision, skill, sophistication… the dishes created by Sato, chef at the Pan Deï Palais, reflect a Japanese garden, the mark of serenity belonging to the country of the rising sun. In one word, “Zen”. Bon Appetit !!! CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
Plage des Salins in Saint Tropez | Saint Tropez, France | Another alternative options to Plage Pampelonne. Less crowded or commercial, with a nice restaurant Les Salins which I am planning to try today for lunch. Ten minutes by car from the Port of St Tropez. Ride the Route des Salins which is the prolongation of Rue Gambetta, and you will be there in not time. Hotel Check IN at Pan Dei Palais Saint Tropez | St Tropez, France | Located over Rue Gambetta only three blocks away for the promenade of the Port of St Tropez, and surrounded by chic stores and lovely restaurants, this small boutique hotel by Relais & Chateauxfeatures 10 suites, a Thai/Indian/French fusion restaurant and a beautiful outdoor lounge next to the heated pool at the back garden. Near the “Place des Lices” in the old town of Saint-Tropez, a stone’s throw from the port and its legendary addresses, a finely carved wooden door invites you to enter the Pan Deï Palais.
I arrived this afternoon from Nice to St. Tropez, on board of the Bateauxon a very easy commute, and even easier walk from the ferry station to the hotel. Welcome to this warm and inviting setting with ornate wood carvings dating back over a century and many different objects from Asia. Serenity and escapism come together within a tranquil intimacy, making for a totally unique and relaxing getaway. The hotel overall has, same as the tales of St Tropez and big Thai / Indina fusion combined with the classic French style.
My suite is very comfortable and spacious, featuring double closets, a working area, and a huge bathroom with double sinks, shower and bathtub. I was lucky to get one of the pool/garden view suites on the first floor, with lovely views. In shelters of inquisitive looks, enjoy complete relaxation and unexpected tranquillity around the pool, right at the heart of the busiest village on the Côte d’Azur.
I will be posting more about this property upon check you. Special thanks to MJL Select hotels for arranging this stay at Pan Dei Palais for me. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
