So last weekend we took off on a four nights trip to London, for a fun weekend and also to see Beyonce’s Concert at The O2 Arena. So off we went and we stayed for the first two nights at the iconic recently renovated St Pancras by Renaissance hotel, which happens to be in King’s Cross attached to St Pancras Station.

I cannot ever get enough of Korean BBQ nor Saporo Japanese Beer. During my last trip to Philippines, a few years ago, I was introduced to both Korean BBQ and Shabu-Shabu and since then I have become addicted to it. One of the bests spots in New York for this, is right in the heart of Manhattan on 32nd street, on the little street between 5th and 6th Ave which is known as Little Korea.

Present at Mrs Carter Beyonce’s Concert London
One of the highlights of our recent flash visit to London last weekend, was to come to see Beyonce’s Concert at The O2 Arena. One of the first main shows of her new world tour ” Mrs Carter Show “. The most exciting moment of the night to me, was when Beyonce flew from the main stage to the center of the crowd on a very Pepsi moment flashing reds, whites and her dressed on a blue sequined bodysuit.

Just arrived and Checked IN at the iconic, recently renovated, sophisticated and very laid back and relaxing El Encanto by Orient-Express in Santa Barbara. Only 2 hours away from Los Angeles, we will be here relaxing and spoiling ourselves for the weekend, after a long week working in Los Angeles for Rubin Singer’s Special Appearances with Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills and a fun social nights out in Beverly Hills. Luxury bungalows dot the lush gardens with sweeping views of Santa Barbara’s Riviera overlooking the Pacific Ocean.Orient-Express. At our suite now, after a lovely lunch at the Terrace on a gorgeous sunny day. Time for a nap.

…” Last week I spent a super-fun afternoon with hot designer-of-the-moment, Rubin Singer. The mission was ostensibly a photoshoot and interview of him for our Travel Uniform section; it turned into a fashion show for me. When I walked into his suite on the top floor of the brand-new W Bangkok, it was overflowing with insane pieces from his Autumn/Winter line, “Valkyrie’s Dominion”—all blacks and grays and reds, an asymmetrical bustle here, a bustier there. Rubin was wrapping up a meeting with buyers from a big Thai department store and—though I wish him much success with his actual business dealings—I could not wait for them to get out of there so I could dive into those dresses!

And we are back in New York, after spending two AMAZING weeks in Thailand, planning and producing Rubin Singer’s Fashion Shows in Bangkok and Koh Samui. Always a treat to spend time in Thailand, a country I carry close to my heart and always draws a BIG smile in my face. So many old and new friends there, could not be happier. On this trip, my fifth time in Thailand, we visited and spent time in Bangkok, Golden Triangle and Koh Samui. OMG so many photos and videos to share, that will take me forever, therefore I decided to do this summary of our time there. You can read more on the individual posts I have been doing pre/post and will do after our stay at the category Thailand. FACEBOOK tales in Koh Samui Thailand
The gay world is small and certainly FACEBOOK has made it even smaller. So here is a funny FACEBOOK story. Both Rubin and I were hanging at our villa at the W Retreat Koh Samui, when I get a message from friends in LAX saying …” We are having Pad Thai at the restaurant..”. My first instinct was, guys we are at the W Koh Samui in Thailand, not in West Hollywood. They replied WE TOO.!!! We saw your photos from Rubin’s Fashion Show and realized we were all at the same resort.!!! What are the odds right. In the end we spent a lovely afternoon at the beach and at our pool drinking sake with Auris, Robbie, Tony and Thomas. Thank you Facebook.!!
Rubin Singer Glamming up W Retreat Koh Samui
So we finished with the production of Rubin Singer’s VIP Fashion Show Koh Samui for L’Officiel Magazine Thailand, hosted by the sexy and chic W Retreat Koh Samui with stunning views over the Gulf of Thailand. A beautiful evening which began with 18 top looks over a floating runway, and finish with incredible fireworks.
