Meeting of the LGBT Travel Media minds at La Silhouette
Last night La Silhouette Restaurant and Carlos Melia Recommends, hosted a private summit of LGBT Media minds in New York City. Friends and colleagues, with whom I have travelled around the world, reporting about travel, hotels, restaurants and more. Lovely evening enjoying the touch of Chef Matthew Tropeano, and the brilliant attention and warms of both Sally and Tito the owners. This time in Florianopolis, Brazil. This year I participated wearing many badges and hats, as a well recognized Media outlet, Travel Agent which has been my core business for the last twenty years and now as a Mentor for the IGLTA Students Foundation. For this I spent a whole day with one of the students, sharing with him all my experience and introducing him to all the participants of this event. I know I know, I have been a bit lazy lately not working much on my blog, but the truth is that while hosting the first ever US and Canada LGBT Press and Travel Professionals groups to Thailand, I have not had much time left. Right now waking up at the amazing Four Seasons Tented Camp in the region of Chiang Rai.
