Hotel Check IN at Four Seasons Punta Mita | Riviera Nayarit, Mexico | So yesterday after five hours flight from New York City with connection in Dallas, I arrived to Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco, to later be transferred by car – approx. 45 minutes – to the neighbor state of Riviera Nayarit where my hotel, the Four Seasons Punta Mita is located. I am being hosted at their Presidential Suite till next Friday 17th, allowing enough time to explore Riviera Nayarit, and to relax and unwind.
I am being hosted at the Ocean/Beach Front Presidential Suite, with direct access to Mansanillo Beach, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Suite Coral, is a stunning casita located on Manzanilla Beach, this five-bedroom Coral Suite is the ultimate in luxury, complete with a private drive, poolside cabana, spa and more. It is also configurable as a two- or three-bedroom suite. in my case it is just me staying.
Quite an unusual check in, by the local native Huichol Indians, blessing my stay, on a ceremony asking the Gods on every corner of the earth and each element to bless my stay. This is part of the project, on which Four Seasons has committed to create unique experiences worldwide for their guest, bringing the local culture of each destination to the hotel experience, making it unique.
Private dinner at The Rock Punta Mita | Punta Mita, Mexico | This morning I arrived to Punta Mita at Riviera Nayarit in Mexico, hosted by the Four Seasons Punta Mita. Tonight was my first dinner and they fully went out of their way to impress me with a private dinner at The Rock. The Rock is a bespoke by request restaurant that only pops up at the hotel for very VIP or special occasions. Accompanied by Jason Santamaria – Sales Manager at FS Punta Mita, we enjoyed a very well though menu of 4 steps including all local fresh produce like lobster, Shrimp, Calamari and the fish of the day Mahi-Mahi all specially prepared and presented by the Chef of the Resort, along with some bottles of Dom Perignon Champagne, while enjoying the views of a stunning sunset over Mansanillo Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A romantic dinner, a celebration for a small private group, or maybe why not just to be enjoyed on your own, overlooking the sunset and later the moon reflecting over the water and the stars shining along the heat of your fire. What an special unique haute experience. This happens on top of The Rock, overlooking Mansanillo Beach. I would definitely walk down the aisle and say ” YES I DO ” surrounded by this breathtaking setting, wouldn’t you ? Sunrise or Sunset, Gay or Straight… And after a lovely ceremony on The Rock, a local dinner at Las Cuevas Beach, see below… Indeed a gourmet experience it took me by surprise and I was not expected. I mean, you get amazing hotels with lovely views like this all over the world, but the execution to detail and professionalism, I hope you can see and read through my photos, it is what only companies like Four Seasons Worldwide can make happen. MUST Try. !!! Now time to relax at the fire contemplating the moon and listening to the rumbling of the Pacific Ocean, sipping through my late harvest sweet white wine. Excited about my day tomorrow, stay tuned. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends (*) One of the many Haute Experiences to be offered by Carlos Melia worldwide.
