PAM ANN Rocks Manchester Pride 2011  |  Manchester, UK  |  Pam Ann landed in Manchester Pride 2011 and as usual rocked the crowd with her carisma and sassy sense of humor. Pam Ann is the air hostess alter-ego of Australian comedienne Caroline Reid. Performances focus on the nuances of air travel, identifying the individual quirks of some of the biggest international airlines and their media stereotypes. Her style leans towards camp humour, in the vein of Kathy Griffin and Chelsea Handler. UK  |  Last night I assisted, during the closing events of Manchester Pride 2011, to The Candlelit Vigil ceremony of Manchester Pride 2011, by George House Trust. A very emotional evening with very moving and touching speeches and performances, that make us remember that PRIDE is a moment to celebrate and be merry, but also the origin of PRIDE is to demonstrate LOUD and PROUD in favor to equality and rights. CarlosMeliaBlog.com will assist Manchester Pride 2011  |  Manchester, UK |  in only ten days I will be flying to the UK, to assist the 21st Edition of Manchester Pride, invited by Visit Manchester. Manchester Pride (19-29 August 2011) is an annual festival celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life, that also works to raise money for LGTB and HIV organisations.  Running for ten days at the end of August, the festival will feature sport, film, debating and campaigning, and arts and entertainment.  It culminates with the Big Weekend, a four-day ticketed event in Manchester’s gay village that boasts a huge market and the Pride Parade – this year’s parade theme is ‘Through The Decades’.
