THE SETAI Fifth Avenue sneak peek of the new property

THE SETAI Fifth Avenue sneak peek of the new property • The Setai will be opening their second signature hotel in New York City, and I was invited to have a sneak peek of this brand new wonderful property right off Fifth Ave. and 36th Street, which will be open to the public next Monday November 1st.
The Setai Fifth Avenue, a Capella Managed Hotel, soars more than 60 stories above the famed Midtown stretch of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue.  Occupying one of the finest spots in New York City, The Setai Fifth Avenue offers guest rooms and amenities that live up to such a prestigious address, enveloping you in luxurious splendor.
157 elegantly-appointed guest rooms and 57 seductive apartment suites ensure that guests have rooms that meet their unique needs, from 400 square foot guest rooms to 2,000 square foot penthouses. The graceful beauty of The Setai Fifth Avenue is reflected in the quality of the materials selected to create its spaces; black oak and limestone flooring, luminous onyx surfaces, and walnut and fine stone accents.
Rooms at The Setai Fifth Avenue have been designed for beauty and size; in a city where space is a truly limited commodity, The Setai Fifth Avenue rewards its guests by offering them expansive and spacious boutique hotel rooms, among some of the largest in New York City.  A natural, almost outdoor-like light illuminates each room and apartment through large windows that have been custom-designed to provide both sweeping views of the city (including nearby Bryant Park and the Fashion District), and inspired views down to the bustling streets below.

With the craftsmanship of Italian custom furniture, Duxania beds, Pratesi Linens, glass-enclosed floor to ceiling rain showers, Grohe bath fixtures and Luce Di Luna Marble countertops, the experience at The Setai Fifth Avenue is one that will leave you breathing easy, if it hasn’t already left you breathless.
Bathroom amenities by Lorenzo Villoresi Firenze for Bottega. Villoresi develops a passion for spices and essences that he would use, back in Italy, to compose original pot-pourris and personalized fragrances.
My favorite amenity of the rooms, are the Mirror Built in TV Screen that you have in the bathrooms. This is something I have seen only in a few hotels in the world.
The AURIGA Spa by Julien Farel, with luxurious black oak and limestone flooring throughout the spa lead from one gracefully appointed room to another.  Private wood lockers, stone vanities, a fully equipped steam room and a luxurious hammam bring you to new heights of relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa amenities of The Setai Fifth Avenue are the finest in Midtown Manhattan, and mere steps away from your guest room. A Spa, Salon and Fitness Center.

More to come after the official opening of the hotel, when I will spend a night reviewing their service, restaurants, breakfast lounge, personal assistance concierge service and the spa.

(*) Special thanks to Jennifer Maas, Director of Corporate and Industry Sales for inviting me and introducing in such a warm way this brand new sanctuary in the middle of the Big Apple. Also congratulations and best of luck to Guenter H. Richter, Managing Director.
