Hotel Check IN Le Meridien Bangkok | Bangkok, Thailand | Last night I arrived back to Bangkok, and decided to explore the area of Patpong in full, so what better option to do so in full class and comfort while in the center of Patpong, that the Le Meridien Hotel Bangkok by Starwood Hotels. Literally be on the hub of the night markets of Bangkok and the Gay happening, and still withdraw in matter of minutes, to the peace and comfort of your room, spa and outdoor pool. Hotel Check IN Le Meridien Patong Beach Phuket | Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand | Just transfer in less than 30 minutes from Kamala Beach to the world famous Patong Beach in Phuket. I checked IN at Le Meridien Patong Beach, which is conveniently and thankfully located ten minutes away from the main area of Patong Beach, allowing you to enjoy one of the most popular destinations in Phuket, while still being able to retrieve to your own resort and private secluded beach area. Le Meridien is a nice four stars resort, which has been a pioneer in the destination with over 20 years of existence. Almost 70% of the rooms have been renovated, and I have to say that although being basic, they are very nice and comfortable, specially the bathrooms. I was quite overwhelm though, I have to say, by the common areas, which gives you the true feeling of what a Resort stands for… lots of restaurants, lots of activities, huge pool areas in fact the biggest ones in Phuket, and families… lots of families. So the downside is that I am not 100% sure this is a suitable or ideal hotel option for Gay Travelers, or at least those ones I know or provide services to. The private beach area, I think is the main and featured amenity of this property making it one of the top accommodation options for those willing to spend a few nights in Patong Beach. More to come.
