Les Clefs d’Or open to Social Media |  New York, United States | Les Clefs d’Or being one of the most traditional organizations in the Hospitality industry, shows its friendly attitude to modern trends and technology, considering new ways to promote their organization, as well as network and communicate with their over 4 thousand international members. For this they have asked for my expert advice on this matter, to assist them designing and creating a Social Network linking the ELITE of Concierges worldwide. It is an honor for me to be approached and considered by such an prestigious international organization, to help them embrace new trends and communication techniques. Coming from the Hospitality industry myself, I have for many years looked up and admired  the work that Les Clefs d’Or have done worldwide since 1929. Hotel Excellence Awards 2010 | New York City, United States |  Well the day has come and I am right now picking up my Tuxedo for tonights Hotel Excellence Awards 2010, to take place at Cipriani Wall Street. Sponsored MVP|NY in cooperation with the Hotel Association of New York City. This invitation-only black tie event combines the Hotel Experience Awards and the Silver Plume Awards, recognizing the best of the best in New York City’s hospitality industry.  The guest list to this annual event – the only industry-wide program sanctioned by the Hotel Association of New York City – is a ” who’s who ” of New York’s Hotel and Travel community , including General Managers, Concierges, Directors of Sales and Marketing, Media among others. This year the industry will be honoring and awarding,  Whoopi Goldberg as the Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
(*) Hotel Experience Awards: The People’s Choice, recognizing leaders in the New York City hospitality community by allowing the most important audience – their guests – to identify those who excel. BUT Hey wait a minute… where is the Best Gay Friendly Hotel ? Well that will be my task for the night. I want this category to be included for the 2011 edition, and I am determined to get it.
