La Compagnie Boutique Airline  | Airlines  |  Last week I was invited by the brand new La Conpagnie All-Business-Class Boutique Airline, to be among the first travel bloggers to experience and review their services, for their flights connecting non-stop New York (EWR Newark) to/from Paris (CDG Charles de Gaulle). La Compagnie operates with several flights a week on a full 74 Business-Class-Seats configured Boeing 757-200 known for its reliability, comfort, and fuel efficiency. The aircraft was previously operated by Icelandair. At the moment this boutique airline only counts with one aircraft, but they are planning to receive their second one next November, and they are even planning adding other destinations to their service. La Compagnie enters to the competitive market of the NYC to Paris route, with very strong players and some similar concepts like OpenSkies by British Airways. Flights depart from New York at 09.50PM, arriving to Paris at 11.30AM. On the way back, departing Paris at 5.45PM arriving to New York at 08.30PM. The story of La Compagnie officially began in October 2013, when DreamJet, their parent company was founded. Lufthansa always makes me happy

Lufthansa always makes me happy  |  Germany  |  After having flown with them several times, I have realized that every time I step foot into one of their planes, I feel happy and I smile. From the moment you check in, mind your point of departure in the world, during your transit at any of their state-of-the-art terminals in Germany, till you get your luggage at your final destination, it is such a pleasant, enjoyable and effortless experience. Everyone smiles, and that is a lot to say being a German airline right.
I am usually very critical of airlines, but you have to admit that some of them just most of the times they get it right, and if not, they have the right attitude to help you or solve any glitches on your experience. This time I flew from the busy Domodedovo Airport in Moscow, Russia all the way to Charles de Gaulle in Paris, France with a short and pleasant connection at the Lufthansa Terminal in Munich.
The Lufthansa Business Lounge in Moscow was very nice and big, offering a bar with several types of hot/cold drinks and snacks, business center, showers and a huge living room. Only comment is that the internet was almost non operative, which for a Business Lounge is not what you would expect. The terminal in Munich was perfect as usual, offering all passengers, regardless their class, complimentary hot beverages. Also always innovative and cutting-edge, offering the new NapCabs sleeping solutions, check them out.
Onboard, the seat pitch is comfortable. Flight attendants are always smiling, willing to assist you, doing several rounds during the flight offering beverages. Meals are of a decent size, well balanced and healthy. Alcoholic drinks free of charge. No entertainment system or WiFi, but each flight were very short with the connection in Munich.
Once again Regional European flights with Lufthansa are an experience that always make me happy, especially when I get to my final destination on time, in this case Charles de Gaulle in Paris, and my suitcase arrives in time and tagged properly with the Priority Transit Tag.
