Very smart move CitiBank. !!! I found this station, right at my neighborhood outside my daily Starbucks on W 49th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue, Hell’s Kitchen.

GPS Carlos Melia from White BIG APPLE

GPS Carlos Melia from White BIG APPLE   |  New York, United States  |  I am back in New York City, and this morning we woke up to see a full white coated frosted Big Apple. One of the nicest views of Manhattan, till it stops and all becomes black and muddy. But hey beauty doesn’t last forever right, so enjoy it and share it before it fades away.

I have been for the last 3 days, since I arrived back from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here for the next two weeks, prepping for my 39th Birthday next Tuesday, and then on the 20th of March, off to Thailand for 3 weeks. Life could not be better.

Hope you enjoy my photos of White New York City from this morning, while I was walking to my favorite breakfast spot in Hell’s Kitchen, La Bergamote, to have my usual Almond Brioche with a huge cup of Coffee with milk. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends

Andaz 5th Avenue New York City

Andaz 5th Avenue New York City  |  New York City, United States  |  Last Friday I checked IN at the Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel, in New York City. I am researching and reviewing hotels for an article I will be doing on Luxury Hotel + Restaurant Escapes in New York City for tourists or locals. What a lovely property, our Loft Suite was just perfect in style, size, design. We kept saying, this would be the ideal apartment style in New York. Not to mention the location right in the heart of Midtown, meters away from Bryant Park and across the street from the New York Public Library A. Schwarzman Building. New York City the Morning after

20111225-111551.jpg New York City the Morning after  |  New York, United States  |  This is how New Yor City was looking like the morning after Christmas Eve night. Completely empty, fully deserted. Such a beautiful view and feeling in a cold winter morning where all looks freezing. I was on my way to the Equinox Gym, after a brief stop for my tea and breakfast, and this was the scenery of a lonely empty New York, the Big Apple and myself.
