GPS Carlos Melia in Buenos Aires Argentina

GPS Carlos Melia in Buenos Aires Argentina  |  Buenos Aires, Argentina  |  Well my friends and followers, the family holidays are almost over, we only have the excuse of  celebrating the arrival of the Magi, but after that its finito… and though still remaining in Buenos Aires for another week and something, it is time to get back to work, and I cannot wait for it. From tomorrow on, I will be staying, researching and reviewing the following great services in Buenos Aires and suburbs: Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires, Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, Serena Hotel Buenos Aires and Algodon Mansion by Relais & Chateux. Chez Nous Restaurant, Tango Porteño Dinner/Show and Estancia Villa Maria, yes yes yes… the same where Michael Buble got married. Cheers and stay tuned. CM

Chez Nous Restaurant ( ALGODON Mansion, Buenos Aires ) • A brand new gourmet exclusive Argentinean/French fusion option in the heart of the neighborhood of Recoleta. A warm, elegant dining room provides an intimate atmosphere, with 07 tables that opens to a glass-covered patio with a crackling fireplace. (Open for breakfast, lunch, tea and fabulous dinners).
Chez Nous at Algodon Mansion calls forth the remembrance of Argentina’s golden years, when Europe, especially France, was the model to follow. Chez Nous offers a seasonal menu in order to serve only the freshest ingredients provided from our own plantation at Algodon Wine Estates, in San Rafael, Mendoza, including the finest estate-cultivated fruit, vegetables, olive oil, and other simple essentials.

My Appetizer selection • LE TORO NADALOU Phyllo wrapped Red Tuna with pea emulsion and sesame oil. Ginger and carrots gelee. Pack Choy salad.  ( from USD 18 )
My Main Course selection • LE RISOTTO AU PARFUMS DU MARCHE Weekly Risotto that changes every night depending on the choice of the Chef. Mine was with Salmon and Coconut.  ( from USD 23 )
My Dessert selection• BELGIAN CHOCOLATE DEGUSTATION ( from USD 13 )
My Tea Selection • ALGODON MANSION BLEND Leafs of black tea harvest by hand, with mango, papaya, flowers, and mediterranean citrics. A blend specially design for ALGODON Mansion. ( from USD 5 )
Exquisite wine selection, ALGODON from their own production at their sister property ALGODON Wine State in San Rafael, Mendoza. Young wines 2009, being this their first year. Malbecs, Bonarda, Syrah among some of the reds and Semillion in whites.
I strongly recommend Chez Nous at ALGODON Mansion, for an special occasion or romantic celebration. Also my choice, together with the ALVEAR Palace Hotel for Tea Time in Buenos Aires. It is in the HIGH Budget ranking, but their organic products, tasteful dishes, friendly and professional service and intimate atmosphere, it is a valid and worth paying experience. CM
