O2 Lounge at Ritz-Carlton Moscow
O2 Lounge at Ritz-Carlton Moscow | Moscow, Russia | One of the best views of the Kremlin and Red Square, can be enjoyed while zipping a Vodka Martini and a nice tray of Sushi at the 12th floor of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow. So we came today for lunch and spent over and hour and a half mesmerized by the views of Moscow.
Our table was facing right to the Kremlin and Red Square. Since it was a rainy day, it was quite nice to see the color of the dark sky compliment the colors of the square and the fortress.
During summer time, and for some special occasions during winter, like New Year’s Eve, they use this terrace as a lounge and cocktail area.
My first course, of course a Dirty Vodka Martini and a traditional very tasty Miso Soup. Chef Seiji has created an original Pan-Asian concept that unites healthy cuisine, contemporary interior design and impeccable Oriental service.
Second and last course, a tray to share of assorted Sushi options. Lunch was rather instructive, where I learnt that soaking your sushi into too much Soy Sauce is consider by Asians as an offense and bad manners, so now you know… go easy on the Soy.
Probably I would recommend trying O2 Lounge during the late afternoons and evenings, rather than lunch time. Views will be spectacular regardless, but I feel that during the late hours, O2 Lounge will have more ambiance, happening and sex-appeal. Nevertheless I truly enjoyed my lunch today. Green tea to finalize a lovely lunch experience, before heading to a full site inspection of the hotel. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
