Kir Normand a Deauville classic
Kir Normand a Deauville classic | Deauville, France | If you are looking for a local drink from Deauville, most provably they will tell you it is the Calvados, but the one that most locals drink before their dinner, is the Kir Normand. The region of Normandy is very popular for the apples, ergo Cider is not stranger to the area, which I LOVE, big fun of Cider here, specially if it is draft. Kir Normand, which I tried tonight at La Flambe Restaurant, is Cider with black currants. Just the perfect amount of sweet and acid. A votre santé.
