GPS Carlos Melia in Moscow

GPS Carlos Melia in Moscow  |  Moscow, Russia  |  Finally I made it to Moscow in Russia, one of the items on my 2012 Travel Bucket List. So happy and excited to be here and have a full week to explore this massive and impressive city. Right now staying at the Hotel Kempinski Baltschug, with stunning views of the Kremlin and the Moscow River. We took the Sapsan Speed Train from St Petersburg, which in four hours took us to Moscow very comfortably.

Last night a local friend took us for a tour of the city starting at the Red Square, with the Kremlin, Saint Basil’s Cathedral. Such a beautiful city, massive imponent buildings and constructions dating from one of the most important empires in the world.  I will be reporting from here till Oct 25th.
