New York to Washington in budget • The best way to get from New York city to Washington DC or ViceVersa is by Bus ( approx. 5 hours ) with modern, comfortable units with WiFi access. There are multiple options and companies but MVP Bus is among one of my favorites. USD 20 each way. Buses depart right from the heart of Manhattan at Penn Station.
