GPS Carlos Melia at High Line New York | New York, United States | High Line in New York City is my absolute favorite spot and landmark to unwind and relax while in Manhattan. Running from lower 14th. Street to 34th. Street, along the Hudson River and Hudson River Park. Great all seasons long walking and outdoors destination.

The Mark Restaurant by Jean George

Dec 23 2011
Filed In: New York, Restaurants

The Mark Restaurant by Jean George | New York, United States | back in New York City, and back to the amazing restaurants that this city have to offer both for lunch or dinner. In this case, how can anything go wrong when you combine an international awarded chef like Jean George, the masterful style and design of Jacques Grange and the operation by Leading Hotel of the World member The Mark. Invited by Angel Mejia Sales Manager, I came to try the restaurant and have a quick glimpse of the hotel, where I will be staying soon sometime in January to review their offer in full.

Epistrophy Cafe Great breakfast option in NOLITA | NOLITA, New York | Early Saturday morning wondering around the area of NOLITA, looking for a new place to have a succulent breakfast/brunch, after a great stay at the new and first boutique hotel in NOLITA (North of Little Italy) by the name The NOLITAN Hotel. Done most of them in the area aka. Balaboosta or Gimme Coffee… so looking for interesting new alternatives. And once again NOLITA delivers.. this time Epistrophy Cafe.

I have kissed a DOUGHNUT and I liked it

Filed In: New York, Restaurants

I have kissed a DOUGHNUT and I liked it | New York City, Chelsea | It is in the open, this morning I have sinned. Usually every morning I am one of those New Yorkers that run on Dunkin but today, …. today was a different story. Although I tried, I was not able to resist the temptation of trying for the first time Doughnut Plant New York. Right next to the iconic Hotel Chelsea Hotel. You have to stop and try it.

MAZE by Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel

Aug 14 2011
Filed In: New York, Restaurants

MAZE by Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel | New York, US | the one and only New York restaurant of celebrity chef (aka. Hell’s Kitchen) Gordon Ramsay in New York city. Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel is divided into three sub venues The LondonBar (for great drinks), MAZE (for informal dining based on the small plates concept, offering French-based dishes with Asian influences), and Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel (for a more refined British style dining). Our selection for the night was MAZE. I was waiting for him to come out of the kitchen and scream at me …” I had enough, close the kitchen…” but fortunately it did not happen.

The NOLITAN New York Nolita’s First Boutique Hotel

Aug 11 2011
Filed In: Hotels, New York

The NOLITAN New York Nolita’s First Boutique Hotel | New York | Some things are just worth waiting for! The Nolitan officially opened its doors for business on August 1st. Located at the corner of Kenmare and Elizabeth Streets, The Nolitan Hotel is the first boutique hotel to grace Nolita – one of the most endearing and authentic neighborhoods in New York City. The Nolitan offers guests much more than luxurious design accommodations, unique amenities and fantastic food: it provides a genuine New York experience, a real sense of belonging and incredibly personal service. It’s the kind of “luxury meets low-key” hotel you always wished you could find in New York City.

Interview with Jeff Cotter of Rainbow World Fund

Aug 08 2011
Filed In: California, San Francisco

Interview with Jeff Cotter of Rainbow World Fund | San Francisco, California | Lately I have been giving a lot of thought to the idea of which organizations and charities we should or should not support, promote and endorse. As this was still in my head, while visiting San Francisco, out of the blue I got connected to Rainbow World Fund, an all-volunteer international humanitarian service agency based in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender – LGBT and friends community. Everything happens for a reason, so I went full on it. Check my interview with Jeff Cotter, Executive Director for Rainbow World Fund.
