Located right off the channel of the Moika River, once residence of the Yusupov family. Catherine’s Summer Palace Tour  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  One of the nicest and most interesting tour I did during my recent visit to St Petersburg, was the tour to the town of Pushkin (approx. 50 minutes or 25 km away from St Petersburg) to see the Summer Palace of Catherine The Great. Ballet at the Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  Last week I came to see a live magnificent ballet performance of Don Quijote at the Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg. Afternoon exploring Hermitage Museum

Afternoon exploring Hermitage Museum  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  The second largest museum of the world after the Louvre in Paris, and followed by the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. Founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great. The entire collection of the Museum comprises approximately three million pieces, of which only a few are on display, since 1852, when the Museum opened its doors to the public. ALLEGRO Helsinki to St Petersburg

ALLEGRO from Helsinki to St Petersburg  |  Finland to Russia  |  The ALLEGRO is the new speed train connecting Helsinki, Finland to St Petersburg in Russia. In only 3 hours and 30 minutes, I was in Russia, having enjoyed a very pleasant and comfortable ride, with lovely views of the country side.
