YUSUPOV Palace where Rasputin was murdered  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  YUSUPOV Palace is were the story of Rasputin’s murder unfolds. Located right off the channel of the Moika River, once residence of the Yusupov family. Catherine’s Summer Palace Tour

Catherine’s Summer Palace Tour  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  One of the nicest and most interesting tour I did during my recent visit to St Petersburg, was the tour to the town of Pushkin (approx. 50 minutes or 25 km away from St Petersburg) to see the Summer Palace of Catherine The Great. Ballet at the Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  Last week I came to see a live magnificent ballet performance of Don Quijote at the Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg. SAPAN Speed Train St Petersburg to Moscow

SAPAN Speed Train St Petersburg to Moscow  |  Russia  |  Yesterday I took the SAPAN Speed Train that in only four hours took me from St Petersburg to Moscow. Modern cars and comfortable seats. To me the best way to travel within Russia. First I went from Helsinki to St Petersburg on the Allegro Speed Train, and now the SAPAN.

Hotel Check IN at Kempinski Moika  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  Last night checked IN at the Kempinski Moika. Located over the banks of the Moika River, which gives its name, to this hotel. Only steps away from the Hermitage Museum, the Neva River, and Nevsky Prospect. Afternoon exploring Hermitage Museum

Afternoon exploring Hermitage Museum  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  The second largest museum of the world after the Louvre in Paris, and followed by the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. Founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great. The entire collection of the Museum comprises approximately three million pieces, of which only a few are on display, since 1852, when the Museum opened its doors to the public. Dinner at MAHCAPGA with an amazing view

Dinner at MAHCAPGA with an amazing view  |  St Petersburg, Russia   |  Member of the Ginza Group, with several options in the city of St. Peteresburg, tonight we came to MAHCAPGA close to our hotel the W Hotel St Petersburg. Apparently the trend from this group, is to have rooftop restaurants with stunning views of Cathedrals. Last night we tried Terrassa (which BTW we did not like at all) from the same group, and this time MAHCAPGA overlooking stunning views of the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the largest Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the city. Check out and follow my Instagram Photo Album on Russia. Hotel Check IN at W Hotel St Petersburg  |  St Petersburg, Russia  |  Today I moved to the W Hotel in St Petersburg for the next two nights. Host hotel of the AURORA Fashion Week in Russia. Small, modern and following the style and design of W Hotels in the world. Located only block away from the Neva River and the Hermitage Museum. Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood

Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood  |  St. Petersburg, Russia  |  The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is one of the main sights of St. Petersburg, Russia. This Church was built on the site where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated and was dedicated in his memory.
