During our last visit to Thailand, only a few weeks ago, we have the chance to experience and enjoy our lovely Vertigo Suite at the HANSAR Bangkok. I would describe it in a few words as Sweden meets Japan in the heart of one of Bangkok premium locations. And we are back in New York, after spending two AMAZING weeks in Thailand, planning and producing Rubin Singer’s Fashion Shows in Bangkok and Koh Samui. Always a treat to spend time in Thailand, a country I carry close to my heart and always draws a BIG smile in my face. So many old and new friends there, could not be happier. On this trip, my fifth time in Thailand, we visited and spent time in Bangkok, Golden Triangle and Koh Samui. OMG so many photos and videos to share, that will take me forever, therefore I decided to do this summary of our time there. You can read more on the individual posts I have been doing pre/post and will do after our stay at the category Thailand. Hotel Check IN W Bangkok
Last night we checked in at the stunning sexy and chic W Bangkok. I was not expecting much to be honest, since the hotel just opened four month ago, but I must say the this property has just jumped to my TOP 05 favorite properties in Bangkok. It is sultry inspiring debauchery on its very own Thai style. We are being hosted at the W version of the Presidential Suite, which looks taken out of a premium Gucci store. We just love the style, design, and panoramic views of Bangkok.
FACEBOOK tales in Koh Samui Thailand
The gay world is small and certainly FACEBOOK has made it even smaller. So here is a funny FACEBOOK story. Both Rubin and I were hanging at our villa at the W Retreat Koh Samui, when I get a message from friends in LAX saying …” We are having Pad Thai at the restaurant..”. My first instinct was, guys we are at the W Koh Samui in Thailand, not in West Hollywood. They replied WE TOO.!!! We saw your photos from Rubin’s Fashion Show and realized we were all at the same resort.!!! What are the odds right. In the end we spent a lovely afternoon at the beach and at our pool drinking sake with Auris, Robbie, Tony and Thomas. Thank you Facebook.!!
Six Senses Koh Samui
Yesterday we moved to the Six Senses property, set on a gently sloping headland at the northern tip of Samui Island. Located just six kilometres from Samui Airport, the 20-acre, or around 9-hectare estate is a 45-minute flight south of the Thai capital, Bangkok. The resort is made up of just 66 private villas, many with personal pools, which are landscaped within natural vegetation, and with glorious, sweeping panoramas out to the Gulf of Thailand and the surrounding islands.
Rubin Singer Glamming up W Retreat Koh Samui
So we finished with the production of Rubin Singer’s VIP Fashion Show Koh Samui for L’Officiel Magazine Thailand, hosted by the sexy and chic W Retreat Koh Samui with stunning views over the Gulf of Thailand. A beautiful evening which began with 18 top looks over a floating runway, and finish with incredible fireworks.

After a busy but amazing and successful stay in Bangkok, we flew this morning into Koh Samui, where we will stay for the next five days. Our first hotel stop is the sexy and hip W Retreat Koh Samui, located on a northern peninsula where Bo Phut and Mae Nam bays come together. After a brief intro to the property, we were Checked IN at our Beach front Villa.
Morning swimming in Bangkok Sky
Just have to say that I am obsessed with the sky pool at the 25th floor of The OKURA Prestige Hotel in Bangkok. Great views of the Bangkok Skyline. This morning I spend an hour contemplating the views and swimming a few laps.
Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine
Blue Elephant is one of the most traditional cooking schools and restaurants of Bangkok. It has been 30 successful years since the first Blue Elephant was opened, surprisingly in Brussels, Belgium, allowing foreign customers to fully experience a real taste of Thailand.
Elephant Polo is my new thing
You might say, Carlos is Argentinean, therefore Polo carries on his veins… but how about going a bit further, bigger and taller… how about Elephant Polo. It sounds quite eccentric right. Thanks to the Four Seasons Tented Camps Golden Triangle in the northern region of Thailand, I can say this this my new thing. Those of you following my blog regularly, know my weakness and devotion for Elephants, so I was quite intrigued and happy when this activity was proposed to me on my last visit to the camp.
