ROSETTA Restaurant Mexico City

ROSETTA Restaurant Mexico City ROSETTA Restaurant Mexico City  |  Mexico City, Mexico  |  Mexico City has reminded me so much of Barcelona. Such a fabulous upcoming gourmet scene. Perfect balance between the traditional Mexican recipes and dishes, and the innovative fusions and techniques. In this case Rosetta Restaurant, lives to this concept, combining the best of local fresh produce and vegetables, with unique North Italian-influenced dishes by Chef Elena Reygadas. The venue is beautiful and ideal for a lunch al fresco, or even better a romantic evening in Colonia Roma Norte, one of the iconic gastronomic hubs of Mexico City along with Polanco and Condesa. Ranked number 33 of the top Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants.

ROSETTA Restaurant Mexico CityMy lunch consisted on a degustation of five-steps plus a little palate cleanser, all suggested by the Chef, which included: Oysters to open the appetite.  Chicozapote (a local delight. Carrot Ravioli. And my absolute favorite, Apionabo (which I guess it translates as celeriac), with octopus, mussels and robalo. My dessert consisted on a Pulque foam, with pineapple and tarragon sorbet. I had indeed a lovely afternoon and lunch, and I would strongly recommend trying ROSETTA during your visit to Mexico City. The venue is lovely and the combination of flavors, colors, textures and presentation, is IMPECCABLY executed, to make you feel in the north of Italy, right in the trendy district of Colonia Roma, Mexico City.

A small and quaint tea-house, with only a few chairs, but lots of tea options from around the world. It was the perfect digestive stop, after my fantastic lunch at Rosetta. Thank you Chef Elena Reygadas and all her staff for the invite and the warm professional service. If you need more information or would like to book this experience, do not hesitate to contact me.
