New Years Survival List to Berlin

New Years Survival List to Berlin by www.carlosmeliablog.comNew Years Survival List to Berlin | Berlin, Germany  |  We have decided to spend our New Years Eve with friends from around the world in Berlin this year, and I have been doing some research on the NYE Survival List for our time there. This is not my first time there, but it has been a year since my last visit, so I have used the expert help and recommendations of friend and colleague Henrik Tidefjaerd with Berlinagenten. We will be staying at the stunning Hotel de Rome by Rocco Forte Hotels, where I have stayed before and loved it. Anyhow, I will be doing a quick trip to Berlin next week, invited by Air Berlin to try and review their brand new Business Class. A Press Trip to Germany for 5 days which will include Berlin, Dresden and culminates in Dusseldorf for the unveiling of their special holiday livery aircraft. The trip is all about holiday traditions Germany and will visit where nut crackers are manufactured, learn how to prepare a holiday meal and some other exciting events. But back to the main purpose of this post, find below the NYE Survival List to Berlin. Hope you enjoy it and if you see me around, stop and say HI and Happy New Year. !!! BTW for those of you that do not get the photo above, is me right on the line where the Berlin Wall used to be. > Favorite Restaurants:
1. Katz Orange
2. Sage Restaurant
3. Grill Royal
4. Restaurant Volt
5. Soya Cosplay
6. Cafe Anna Blume (I love for Champagne Sunday Brunch to later walk to The Mauer Park)
7. Monsieur Voung (If you like Asian)
8. Grosz Berlin (Ultra romantic)

> Favorite Bars:
I love the bar at the Hotel de Rome, but it tends to be rather quiet, but we will be there too and make it fun
1. Bonbon Bar (Favorite cocktail bar)
2. King Size (Berlin´s smallest wildest club bar)
3. Odessa Bar (Hip)
4. Bar Saint Jean (Very popular gay bar)
5. The Liberate  (Sparkling mixed gay bar)

> New Years Eve Event
1. Balhaus (You won´t forget this place, you should go for category 1! In Berlin they have dinner including parties mostly. It´s pretty annoying arriving to a club after a dinner and wait in a line so better to do a package.)2. Pauly Saal

> For Straight Party
No I am not forgetting my straight friends… so here is at least one place to go. And if not you guys can follow us, the gays, and have fun with us.
1. The Pearl Berlin

> For Gay Party
Oh, this is never ending!  We don´t know yet, hundreds of parties but the best ones. You MUST NOT miss: BerghainSchwuzGMF (Sundays), Irrenhaus, Propaganda. BUT Berghain is hysterical, voted as one of the best clubs in the world. Everyone ends up there… And during new year the party runs non-stop for 3-4 days!!!!
