The Nutcracker in Buenos Aires | Buenos Aires, Argentina | Invited by the authorities of the Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Ministry of Culture & Tourism of the City of Buenos Aires, this evening I came to see live Eleonora Cassano’s open air farewell over 9 de Julio Avenue. The Nutcracker with Herman Cornejo and the close supervision by international dance icon, Julio Boca.
Eleonora Cassano, an Argentine ballet dancer and teacher. She’s known for being the dancing partner of Julio Bocca since 1989. Cassano studied in the Teatro Colón’s Advanced Arts Institute. In the year 2000 she participated in the international Millennium Day event, dancing in Ushuaia with Bocca and the Ballet Argentino in a performance broadcast to the whole world.
Herman Cornejo, young Argentinean dancer and member of the American Ballet Theater, a classical ballet company based in New York City. Promise to become the next iconic dancer from Argentina, following the steps of Julio Bocca.
Julio Bocca, is one of the most important ballet dancers of the later part of the 20th century and arguably the most important Argentine dancer of all time.
