La Peniche Restaurant

La Peniche Restaurant  |  Deauville, France  |   Dine on board a barge, moored at the marina of Deauville, steps away of the beach and the famous promenade, featuring cozy mahogany decor, breathtaking views, to top a great value for money. Ideal for a nice extended lunch with friends, lounging over drinks or coffee after a nice meal, enjoying the views.
One of my favorite lunch spots in the center of Deauville. Peniche in French is used to refer to a barge, so there you go, a different alternative type of restaurant.
My choices for the day were rather simple, but tasteful. Based in to menu options for either EUR 23 or EUR 34.

I went for the EUR 34 Euros menu with three options available on each step. As a starter I had: Carpaccio de thon rouge aux éclats de noisettes.
Followed by a main course of Filets de bar au beurre d’agrumes et sa purée de carottes. And of course I could not resist, I am in the region of Normandy, so you must try over and over all the fabulous selection of local cheeses available, Trilogie de fromages normands. For more information visit La Peniche. Bon appetite.
