If you are looking for the premium boutique, design, chic hotel experience while in Istanbul, then you should choose The House Hotels, with their three locations in the city, all on the European side: Nisantasi, Galatasaray and Bosphorus. Each unique, and true to the area they are located and represent. During my stay, I spend my nights at the two properties in Galatasaray (my ultimate favorite) and Nisantasi.
Another lovely weekend in Fire Island | Fire Island, New York, United States | Once again another lovely, relaxing, fun and social weekend in Fire Island. We came on Friday night, and we just arrived back to New York this morning, after taking the 7.30AM ferry to Sayville. The weather forecasted a dreadful weekend, but it was quite the opposite. Anyhow it is always, regardless of the weather so charming to getaway and enjoy the magical, fun atmosphere of this island.
Eccleston Square Hotel London urban cocoon cutting-edge technology | London, UK | Most of the times prejudice plays bad influences on our thought, and we tend to underestimate things based on size, first impressions and location. This is what happened with me an the lovely Eccleston Square Hotel in London. From the minute I saw it from the distance, I saw a charming boutique hotel, located across a the quiet Eccleston Square. As I walk thought the door, I saw the modern lavish designed lobby and the intimate restaurant Bistrot on the Square. So I said to myself, OK I will have a safe comfortable stay, in a traditional sophisticated English Boutique hotel, and do not get me wrong, I was more than fine and happy with that, but I am always looking for more for an edge.

British Airways World Traveler Plus | London to New York | Very comfortable seats, fabulous entertainment system, fairly good gourmet options… but the most unfriendly and rude service I have experienced in the last few years, shocked specially coming from an European carrier. World Traveler Plus (aka. Premium Economy)
World Pride 2012 London in images and videos | London, England | Last Saturday, we celebrated the World Gay Pride 2012 in London. We marched all along the city to Trafalgar Square, were the main stage was located. There are no official numbers yet of how many participated, but I must say that the procession (aka. Parade) the way the local authorities decided to call the march, was very successful, despite of all the organization, budget, permits problems that have been public for the last few weeks, and for which many were predicting this World Pride to be World Shame Pride.
