GPS Carlos Melia transitioning from Puerto Rico to Vieques | Vieques | Hi there everyone, reporting from Vieques, were we are spending a fabulous weekend celebrating Rubin’s BDAY. More photos on Facebook. We spent last night at the fabulous and exclusive St Regis Bahia Resort in Puerto Rico, with a romantic dinner at Ferns by Jean George. Today we flew on Vieques Air Link to Vieques (only 30 minutes from Isla Grande en Puerto Rico) and now we are spending our weekend at the W Retreat Vieques. We came on Friday night, and we just arrived back to New York this morning, after taking the 7.30AM ferry to Sayville. The weather forecasted a dreadful weekend, but it was quite the opposite. Anyhow it is always, regardless of the weather so charming to getaway and enjoy the magical, fun atmosphere of this island.

This is what happened with me an the lovely Eccleston Square Hotel in London. From the minute I saw it from the distance, I saw a charming boutique hotel, located across a the quiet Eccleston Square. As I walk thought the door, I saw the modern lavish designed lobby and the intimate restaurant Bistrot on the Square. So I said to myself, OK I will have a safe comfortable stay, in a traditional sophisticated English Boutique hotel, and do not get me wrong, I was more than fine and happy with that, but I am always looking for more for an edge.

World Pride 2012 London in images and videos | London, England | Last Saturday, we celebrated the World Gay Pride 2012 in London. We marched all along the city to Trafalgar Square, were the main stage was located. There are no official numbers yet of how many participated, but I must say that the procession (aka. Parade) the way the local authorities decided to call the march, was very successful, despite of all the organization, budget, permits problems that have been public for the last few weeks, and for which many were predicting this World Pride to be World Shame Pride.
