American Airlines First Class Non-Stop BUE/JFK

American Airlines First Class Non-Stop BUE/JFK   |  New York, United States  | Back in New York City after and amazing month an a half in Brazil and Argentina. The way back, well on board First Class non-stop American Airlines flight from Buenos Aires to New York City (approx. 10 hours and 30 minutes ). Yes everyone, after an exhausting week planning a Gay Wedding in Buenos Aires, I got on my almost flat bed seat, jump into my AA pijamas, enjoyed a few glasses of White Wine and Champagne, caught up with movies and slept the whole way through to wake up over a great breakfast at JFK.

That seats and entertainment system is a bit old and outdated onboard International American Airlines flights ? yes I keep hearing that a lot, and I must say that although extremely comfortable, I agree. But GREAT news, this is all about to change… American Airlines announced changes to its spring and summer schedules, first over  airline’s presence in Brazil. Beginning in December, American’s route between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Sao Paulo(GRU) will operate with the new state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER. The new aircraft is designed to enhance the customer experience and includes fully lie-flat First and Business Class seats, plus seating plans that will allow American to offer a premium product in the Main Cabin and Wi-Fi capability to keep customers connected while traveling internationally. The Business Class cabin be outfitted with fully lie flat seats – all with aisle access. The First Class cabin will feature an updated and enhanced version of American’s Flagship Suite seats. Unique mood lighting and a dramatic archway and ceiling treatment create a feeling of spaciousness.
My overall experience…. well as I said above, it is true American Airlines, has been offering this FIRST Class to Argentina for at least the last 11 years, I remember my first times on it long ago. America Airlines today monopolizes the best route linking Buenos Aires and New York City. Entertainment system was not working properly, and had to ask in two occasions the crew to reset my seat. Food was quite good. Not a great appetizer, but yes great selection of salad, main course and dessert. Lovely champagne and white wine. The crew was very friendly, but at moments I must say a bit too informal. I must mention that since a few month ago, now EZEIZA International Airport in Buenos Aires is offering the Self Check IN machines with later Bag Drop. This has change drastically the timing and hazards that most of you having travelled on American from Buenos Aires before, might had experience in the past. After all the experience begins once you arrive to the airport, and most times before when you call the airline to book your ticket.
Reporting LIVE and already on my pijamas ready to fall asleep, from 35,000 feet in the air, but in style. CM
