GPS Carlos Melia Back in Thailand

GPS Carlos Melia Back in Thailand
 |  Bangkok, Thailand  |  Waking up this morning in Bangkok. Opening the windows of my apartment and seeing the old style Thai Houses, the perfect temperature, the smells in the air….. Now having a great breakfast next to the pool. I know now why I choose Thailand over and over. I feel like home here. Later on today, tea at Four Seasons with my my friend Nicola and Lady Gaga’s Press Conference Party at the Paragon. Bangkok ROCKS !!!! So happy to be back for a month, it feels like I never left.
Me onboard Emirates flight New York / Dubai / Bangkok. Over 19 hours, 10 movies, 10 small bottles of White Wine, 6 meals and zero sleep. ICE Entertainment system is fabulous with a huge selection of movies in every single language you can imagine and from every corner of the world. My favorite was ” My Week with Marilyn “. Lots of food and great quality and presentation. Now the service by the cabin crew, the aircraft were quite disappointing… Same with the airport of Dubai, I was expecting much much more. Anyhow heading back to Dubai late March for 3 nights so will have more time to maybe fall in love with it.
But most important, I was uber happy to arrive back to Bangkok. My heart started beating when we landed… and now I will be here till the first week of April. So plenty of time to discover more of the Land of Smiles. Also stay tuned to my Orient-Express Train 3 nights experience crossing from Bangkok to Malaysia and Singapore. CM
