TweetTravel Update Le Sereno and St. Barth here I go | Saint Barthelemy | Next Monday, I am heading for the first time to the idilic French West Indies of St. Barth. Emerged as one of the world’s most elegant and fashionable resorts. Frequented primarily by an upscale clientele, attracts discriminating travelers who favor an exclusive vacation spot. I am being hosted by Le Sereno Hotel, an intimate, elegant sanctuary. A beachfront gem with 37 exquisitely furnished suite and villas.
It’s located on the east end of the island along 180 meters (600 feet) of beach on picturesque Grand Cul-de-Sac, a turquoise cove protected from the ocean waves by a coral reef. The site was noted by The Travel Channel as “one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.”. An I will be there for three nights, reviewing the hotel and the island, escaping from the freezing winter of New York city. Only a few hours away, the ultimate winter gateway. I will be flying Tradewind Aviation, First class scheduled service to St. Barth (served from San Juan, Puerto Rico). So I think that one of my 2012 Bucket List items will be checked out this Monday.
