Algodon Masion small luxury Buenos Aires Check IN | Buenos Aires, Argentina | Just checked in at Algodon Mansion, landmark 1912 building fashioned in French Classical design, at the residential neighborhood of Recoleta. This is my second time at the hotel, the first was over two years ago when they were just opening, and I am happy to see that they are very well settled and entrenched as small luxury boutique option in the city.
Video above of my Suite – Imperial Suite. Very intimate and cozy, with only 10 sophisticated suites, all areas of the hotel give you the feeling of being home. Spacious traditional styled suites with predominant browns in all shades, in contrast with lavish bathrooms, beautifully decorated in bookmatched Italian Calacatta marble and French Limestone, featuring oversized steam showers with waterfall fixtures, mirror TV and great cocoon shape bathtubs. L’Occitane hair and body bathroom amenities.
From the Cognac Bar in the main lobby, to the celebrated restaurant, Chez Nous, and their own rooftop, teak decks and loungers surrounding a swimmer’s pool for summertime tanning with a petite bar for afternoon soirées. I was invited for dinner tonight at Chez Nous, so I will comment further on this tomorrow.
A small spa and rooftop pool are located on the 5th floor of the property, both ideal to relax after a day walking around Buenos Aires, and to get some tan during spring and summer time.
Algodon Masion is sister company with Algodon Wine Estates, with vineyards along the Argentinean wine route of San Rafael, Mendoza. Custom-designed and bottled with grape varietal of your choosing, that brandishes your family crest or label. A wonderful amenity when you walk into your suite upon arrival. more to come after my stay. CM
