The Mark Restaurant by Jean George

The Mark Restaurant by Jean George   |  New York, United States  |  back in New York City, and back to the amazing restaurants that this city have to offer both for lunch or dinner. In this case, how can anything go wrong when you combine an international awarded chef like Jean George, the masterful style and design of Jacques Grange and the operation by Leading Hotel of the World member The Mark. Invited by Angel Mejia Sales Manager, I came to try the restaurant and have a quick glimpse of the hotel, where I will be staying soon sometime in January to review their offer in full.
Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings his unbridled passion for fresh from the market, simple cooking to the reopening of The Mark Hotel. A world class menu of subtly innovative European classics as well as Jean-Georges’ signature global seasonings will be sure to satisfy cravings for both simple and eclectic palates alike. The Tuna Tartare was just amazing. The bar, which is very trendy and happening, serves hand crafted classic and signature cocktails. Showcased in a copper and glass wine wall in the dining room are a collection of boutique and familiar food friendly wines from around the world, focusing on value and diversity. My dessert, a classic in my diet, the Red Velvet Cake, which was almost great… just needed a little extra moist to become among my favorites worldwide. The Mark by Jean George is on 77th. Street and Madison Avenue, New York. CM
