Standing Buddha at Takiap Hill in Hua Hin

Standing Buddha at Takiap Hill in Hua Hin  |  Hua Hin, Thailand  |  As I mentioned in my previous post, most of these hills in Huan Hin house a temple and a Buddha statue, and Takiap Hill has of course its own, the Standing Buddha. The main characteristic that makes this image so attractive, other than its size, is the location and surroundings.

Beautiful image of Buddha, ruling the views of the Gulf of Thailand and the beaches of Hua Hin. Right on the water, as you can see from my video, surrounded by local markets and improvised restaurants serving the fresh fish and see fruits of the day.
So pay a visit to the Standing Budhha. It is only 10 minutes from Hua Hin downtown and most hotels or resorts. You will get great panoramic views of Hua Hin beach, and do not miss exploring around the Fishermen Village, specially in the morning when the return for their fishing trips and you can see them collecting and working on their fishing nets.
