Pack Luck Wine Bar in Luang Prabang
Pack Luck Wine Bar in Luang Prabang | Luang Prabang, Lao | If there was a spot I wanted to come over and over while in Luang Prabang, that was my corner at the Pack Luck Wine Bar in Ban Vat Nong. Such a quite, cozy and wonderful venue. Not the best views, not fancy… just plain and basic in perfect synchro with the magic and charm of this fantastic town. Rome, the manager and all the staff are amazing, they will greet you with a friendly smile eager to share their own inside tips on how to better experience and live Luang Prabang while you sip your wine. Great selection of wines, fantastic atmosphere to unwind and live this destination in full. Now when the sun goes down, and everyone is out, expats and locals mingle and socialize, so be there early to make sure you secure your spot. Once done, cross over the street to L’Elephant Restaurant or walk to the street markets. CM

North of India next stop for CarlosMeliaBlog.com | India | Visa approved and collected, so now I am ready to head for eight days to India starting November 27th. Destinations to be visited and explored courtesy of Out Journeys are: New Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Agra. This is my second time in India, since I have lived very briefly in Mumbai in the past, but my first time to Northern India. During this trip I will also be attending the 1st Asian Symposium on Gay & Lesbian Tourism to take place at Le Meridien Hotel in New Delhi on November 28th, where I have been requested to do a brief presentation as a Guest Speaker on Gay Travel to Thailand, based on my late experience on the destination. So far I know I will have two of my Bucket List moments during this trip, visit the Taj Mahal and Varanasi, two main attractions I have always wanted to see. So stay tuned for more travel experiences in Asia. Cheers CM
