Thailand Tourist Visa and Visa on Arrival
Thailand Tourist Visa and Visa on Arrival | Thailand | So today, while transferring at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, waiting for my flight to Luang Prabang at People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, I decided to explore and wonder around. I found some very interesting information about Tourist Visas to Thailand, courtesy by Thailand Long Stay (www.thailandlongstay.info), and this is what I found. Tourists wishing to enter Thailand must get a tourist visa. Most must apply to a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate prior to departure. However, the tourist visa exemption allows the citizens of over 40 countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, most European countries, Israel, Japan, Australian, New Zealand, and many Gulf States to enter and stay in the Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days. At the end of the 30 days, they must exit Thailand. Tourists under this exemption can return to Thailand under the tourist visa exemption, but only for a cumulative total of 90 days in any given six-month period. Read More ›
Don’t cry for me Thailand I will be back very soon
Don’t cry for me Thailand I will be back very soon | Thailand | I cannot believe that it is going to be a month since I arrived to Thailand. So much ground covered, so many amazing experiences and so many new friends and colleagues. Tomorrow I will be heading, on board Bangkok Airways to the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, to the city of Luang Prabang for two nights, staying at the Amantaka by Aman Resorts. Main reason for this, other than satisfy my crave for new and alternative destinations…. is to renew my Tourist VISA to Thailand, which was only granted for 30 days. Regular practice among tourists and some expats living in Thailand. So my dear followers, expect some initial posts on this new destination, a great option to complement and combine with Amazing Thailand. Bangkok I am back on November 22nd. Can’t wait to be in this amazing and vibrant city. Stay tuned. CM
