Chapman’s Peak Drive Scenic route Cape Town | Cape Town, South Africa | One of the most stunning and beautiful marine drives, along the coast of the Western Cape on the Atlantic Ocean, from Noordhoek to Hout Bay. Among top in the list of MUST DO while visiting Cape Town. During our drive back to Cape Town, after a full day tour of the Western Cape, including Cape of Good Hope, our driver took us through Chapman’s Peak Drive, promising one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. And he was absolutely right.
I must say, that in Africa, I have seen some of the most amazing Sunsets in the world, to be Chapman’s Peak Drive (South Africa), Zambezi River (Zambia), Okavango Delta (Botswana)…. The perfect moment to relax, enjoy the view, listen to the sounds and connect with the nature.
Chapman’s Peak Drive is a visual feast. From Hout Bay all the way down to the Cape Peninsula National Park, visitors will encounter magnificent views of hidden valleys, isolated landscapes, steep cliffs and a restless ocean. Chapman’s Peak Drive lies to the west of the Cape Peninsula mountain chain which stretches 50km southwards from Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head to Cape Point. Certainly not to be missed.
