Some of the best areas, regardless your budget (since there are options for everyone) Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and surrounding areas are some of the best locations to train to become a real Mahout. My training, I did it at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, and I have to say it was one of the most fantastic experiences I have done in my life.

For those of you not familiar with the term MAHOUT. This is an Indian word that means Elephant Keeper. With simple commands and body language, they interact with some of the most amazing and intelligent creatures over the face of the world.
