Some of the best areas, regardless your budget (since there are options for everyone) Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and surrounding areas are some of the best locations to train to become a real Mahout. GPS Carlos Melia at Golden Triangle | Golden Triangle, Thailand | Good Morning everyone, from Golden Triangle and Fours Seasons Tented Camp. Above view of my tent, below view from my bed at my room. No words to describe it…. just enjoy it and share it with you all. Golden Triangle is a magical destination. I am right now on the Thailand side, surrounded by the Ruack River and the Maekhong River. The other side is Laos, where I will be spending a few hours today.
Bangkok Airways Asia’s Boutique Airline
Bangkok Airlines Asia’s Boutique Airways | Thailand | I have to say that today I was happily surprised by the service of Bangkok Airlines. They will be my carrier for my whole itinerary while touring around Thailand. At the beginning when I got my tickets I was rather concern, but after my flight today from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, I am more than happy to carry on with them for the rest of my flights including, Krabi, Phuket and Koh Samui.
Four Seasons Golden Triangle Tented Camp
Four Seasons Golden Triangle Tented Camp | Golden Triangle, Thailand | I have just arrived to the Four Seasons Golden Triangle Tented Camp, and I have to say that I never stop being surprised. Golden Triangle is the point where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (Burma) come together, surrounded by the Ruak River and Maekhong River. A secluded destination to enjoy hours interacting with elephants – training and trekking along with the expert guidance of the Mahouts – in this unforgettable experience. Just 15 tented accommodations – unique in luxury, complete with hand-hammered copper bathtubs – echo the romantic spirit of 19th-century explorers. All-inclusive Four Seasons adventures cover every detail, from drinks and dining to river boat excursions to meet local hill tribes. I will be posting more since I will be staying here for two nights.
Bed Supperclub Restaurant Bar & Disco
Bed Supperclub Restaurant Bar & Disco | Bangkok, Thailand | What a cool space indeed. From the external design, to the concept of a single big bed to movable tables…. just very very cool and modern, all match with the live spinning of local and international DJ’s. Located in the area of Soi 11 and only a few blocks away from Sukhunvit Road and the Nana AirTrain BTW Station. The restaurant is shaped in cylindric form, but the coolest part awaits inside.
My favorite dessert in Thailand the Bua Loi
My favorite dessert in Thailand the Bua Loi | Thailand | The description does not sound too tempting, but believe me it is fantastic and right now ranks high up as my absolute favorite dessert in Thailand. The Bua Loi is glutinous-rice flour balls in coconut cream. The texture is amazing in the mouth, and the coconut cream soup compliments it very well. Popular Thai dessert , it is loved by people of all classes. That’s why it is available in many places, ranging from food stalls on the sidewalk to good restaurants. I tried it myself at the Baan Khanitha Restaurant and at he Tea Room of the Gran Hyatt Erawan Hotel.

Sneak peak at the new The Siam Hotel
Sneak peak at the new The Siam Hotel | Bangkok, Thailand | The Siam Hotel and experience and destination itself, a boutique hotel that will change and revolutionize the concept of lodging in Bangkok, and become the South East Asia hub for luxury travelers, looking for a bespoke and unique experience of the City of Angels, Thailand and surrounding countries. Today, escorted Jason Friedman – General Manager, I was introduced by the property which is scheduled to open next March 2012, and I have to say from what I saw, that this will be my new home when passing by Bangkok.
Muay Thai at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok
Muay Thai at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok | Bangkok, Thailand | Today my local friends invited me to come and experience a real Muay Thai fight at one of the most important arenas in Bangkok, the Rajadamnern Stadium. Hopefully you will get to feel the excitement of the crowd over their national sport and their young fighters.
SkyTrain BTS Bangkok
SkyTrain BTS Bangkok | Bangkok, Thailand | SkyTrain together with the Metro are the best ways to travel to some areas in Bangkok, fast, comfortable, reliable, clean and most important with air conditioning. There are two lines for the SkyTrain, the Sukhumvit Line, and the Silom Line, which I have been using for the last few days. A great way to see Bangkok from above, since the train is elevated from the street level.
