The Elephant Whisperer mold my African experience

The Elephant Whisperer mold my African experience  |  Africa  |  Those who know me well, know that I am not a big reader, not even now in times of the iPad. I am the kind of people that absorbs knowledge through life itself. I learn from observing the world before my eyes. But two weeks ago, I walked into this book store in Johannesburg and it was love at first site. I have a weakness for elephants, that during this African trip has broaden, and the title of the book truly intrigued me. Two weeks after, I must say that not only was an inspirational book to read, but also the best introductory guide to my African experience and the pachyderm world I so love and cherish. This, is the second book written by South African author and conservationist Lawrence Anthony along with journalist Graham Spence. This bestselling book tells the story of a herd of wild African elephants on an African game reserve. The herd is destined to be shot for dangerous behaviour when Anthony intervenes to try to save their lives. I just wish one day I will have the honor to visit Thula Thula, to meet Lawrence, Nana and the whole amazing herd.  CM
