New Yorkers now have a new Skate Rink the High Line Rink | New York, High Line | Just opened today, is the new reason to come and visit the High Line. a new, outdoor rollerskating rink now open under the High Line. Open for a limited time this summer, from Thursday, July 28 to Monday, September 26, the High Line Rink is one of the only open-air rollerskating venues in Manhattan, with regularly scheduled theme nights and other fun public activities for visitors of all ages. Admission will be free for the first 500 people on the first three days of operation thanks to UNIQLO.
The High Line Rink – Made for All by UNIQLO casual brand clothing in the USA. The High Line Rink is located on street level at the southwest corner of West 30th Street and 10th Avenue. The High Line Rink can be reached by taking the A / C / E train to 34th Street & 8th Avenue, or the 1 / 2 / 3 train to 34th Street & 7th Avenue. The High Line Rink can also be reached by taking the M11 bus to West 30th Street.
Hours of operation: Sunday – Wednesday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Thursday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Regular admission to the High Line Rink is $10 for children under age 13 and $12 for adults. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The admission fee is waived for non-skating parents or guardians accompanying children under age 12. The admission fee includes a pair of rental skates, and will not be waived for guests who would like to use their own roller-skates and roller-blades.
The High Line Rink expands the existing public amenities at The Lot , which include a rotating series of food trucks, and a beer and wine bar at The Lot on Tap by Colicchio & Sons, next door. There are food trucks available near the High Line Rink for people taking part in rollerskating activities. And yes my friend we also have our own nights.
