Letters to Juliet in VERONA by CM

Jul 07 2010

Play the VIDEO Love Story by Taylor Swift – soundtrack of the movie Letters to Juliet -  and scroll down to read the lyrics and see photos of my visit to Juliet’s House and Balcony on my trip to Verona last week. I know this sounds kinda of corny… but a nice experience I must admit.

We were both young when I first saw you,
I close my eyes, and the flash back starts.
I’m standing there. On a balcony of summer air.

I see the lights,
See the party the ball gowns.
I see you make your way through the crowd,
You say hello
Little did I know…

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don’t go, and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone,
I’ll be waiting all there’s left to do is run
You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess
That’s a love story baby, just say yes

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quite because we’re dead if they know
So close your eyes, Escape this town for a little while
Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don’t go, and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I’ll be waiting all theres left to do is run
You’ll be the prince, I’ll be the princess
That’s a love story baby, just say yes

Romeo save me, try to tell me how it is
This love is difficult, but its real,
Don’t be afraid we’ll make it out of this mess
Its a love story baby, just say yes, oh,

I was tired of waiting,
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

Romeo save me I’ve been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head, I don’t know what to think.
He fell to the ground, and pulled out a ring

Marry me Juliet you’ll never have to be alone
I love you and thats all you know
I talked to your dad, you’ll pick out a white dress
Its a love story baby, just say yes
Oh, Oh, Oh
We were both young when I first saw you

Filed In: Argentina, Been There Done That, Carlos Melia, Must Do, Must see, Puerto Madryn

TweetThis is the TOP 05 MUST DO when visiting Puerto Madryn. For those that do not know about Puerto Madryn, it is located in the southern region of Argentina, in the province of Chubut (approx. 1hs. and 40 minutes from the city of Buenos Aires). This destination is worldwide known for the Southern Right Whales and the Killer Whales. One of the few places in the world where you can still get up and close to this amazing marine mammals. Also Puerto Madryn has a huge biodiversity which includes Seals, Penguins, Dolphins, Elephant Seals, and many types of native birds. This is my list of 05 things you cannot omit to do and experience if you are planning to visit this destination:

TOP 01 • VISIT EL DORADILLO BEACH

TOP 02 • 4×4 WHEELS DRIVE TOUR TO CERRO AVANZADO

TOP 03 • SAILING WITH WHALES AT PUERTO PIRAMIDES

TOP 04 • CALETA VALDES AND SEA ELEPHANTS

TOP 05 • PUNTA TOMBO AND THE PENGUIS

(*) for more information please do not hesitate to contact me. Also take your time to see my NEW Photo Album of Puerto Madryn that I got during my last visit to the area JUN 2010. There are many other attractions that did not make it to this TOP 05 list such as (1). Welsh Tea Houses at Gaiman / (2). Visit to the Econocentro Interpretation Center / (3). Trelew / (4). Farms of Peninsula Valdes among many others that I will be more than happy to present to you upon request. Cheers. CM

NYC Short Term Apartment Rentals

Filed In: Apartments, Been There Done That, Carlos Melia, Hotels, New York

If you are already planning your next trip to the Big Apple, and looking to keep your budget low without sacrificing quality, location and comfort… then you should seriously consider the Short Term Apartment Rentals option. Many New Yorkers offer their apartments for rent while away on business or holidays, therefore making off some money of one of the most scarce and limited resources in Manhattan, which is SPACE. There are many companies and sites like Craigslist.org offering these service, but here is the BIG WARNING.. !!! watch out for scams. Fake photos, outdated descriptions, tricky conditions or locations are not the exception.

Here are some of the properties I recommend, which have been previously tested, reviewed and visited in person by ME. More options available upon request and subject to availability. New York by Carlos Melia
